The company Bonava Latvija has begun construction of its next metropolitan residential project. This place was part of the former VEF plant. The address is 4 Turaidas street, Riga. They plan to develop three 5-floors buildigs of 189 apartments. The new project's name is Pagalms 2.0 (“Yard 2.0”). Its first house should be commissioned in 2020. It is noteworthy that on the very first day of the project presentation a dozen agreements on apartment reservations were completed. Prices in the first house start at 1,680 euros per square meter with a full finish. “Yard 2.0” has a unique for Riga concept, what is allready very popular in Europe: dwellers will their own small areas for urban gardening. Also the project will have wide opportunities for sports activies: on the territory there are basketball courts, table tennis places, as well as several dozens of places for parking bicycles. The investment amount of the whole “Yard 2.0” is estimated at 10 million euros.
